certain advantages over gasoline: they burn at cooler temperatures and cause less pollution both inside and outside the engine They also have several disadvantages most significant of which is less efficiency Because they operate at lower temperatures their usable power output is about 25 percent less than an equal amount of regular gasoline But when methanol is mixed with unleaded gasoline in small amounts such as the 10 percent used by Arco and some other oil companies it tends to improve the final product in several areas cleaner burning higher octane rating and resultant better mileage When more than 10 percent alcohol is blended with gasoline ttie end result becomes increasingly negative and some deterioration of the car's fuel delivery system can occur At 10 percent or less there is little or no danger of this happening as extensive tests by both General Motors Corp and Ford Motor Co have shown Alcohol fuels are financially viable only in areas of the world where the raw Coleco makes some And strangely enough Coleco does a better job it than the original developers That seems almost impossible since here's 'Sega with the arcade game in its back yard and it had to do was scale it down a little for the Atari 5200 and a lot more for the Atari 2600 Of course such thingsare not easy else we'd all be millionaire programmers And this game being one of Sega's first entries into the home market may have had something to do with it Instead of making a close clone of the original Sega opted for only part of the game That would normally be expected for the limited-memory Atari 2600 version but not for the 5200 with its oodles of memory But there it is While Coleco put just about the whole game on the ColecoVision the CV does have more memory than the offers a very limited contest There are a couple of more strange things about this collection The 5200 version has better graphic realism than the Coleco and the Adam computer tape doesn't have any better detail than the ColecoVision but there's a lot lot more of it) The 5200 version is a tougher game than the CV skill level one (and there's only one skill level on it tool As appears to be inherent in the 5200 system jhe color is better than the ColecoVision game -but the Adam tops them both The Adam version -however has its own problems associated with the digital tape pack that is used It takes longer to Adad recycle and reset But boy does it have a lot "bf memory The game itself?
