THURSDAY OCTOBER 29 1992 THE MIAMI HERALD 3F Dressing your legs provides a new look By CANDY BARRIE Special to The Herald This season instead of splurging on a new skirt try updating a favorite skirt you already have by pairing it with outta-sight tights Whether a short a classic or a newer slim and long skirt finish the look with colored textured or patterned tights This assortment of legs shows some of the patterns available and the range of prices Dressing your legs is no different from dressing the rest of you The same rules apply vertical lines add height large or busy patterns shorten the legs and add width bright colors draw attention dark colors slim and lengthen the appearance of legs Take your entire outfit into account when choosing hosiery Textured fabrics require shoes with some texture too That means a matte suede shoe will usually be a better choice than a smooth leather By the way fishnet stockings arc back If too timid to try them alone minimize the peek-a-boo effect
