feature game of the conference 2A first-round play offs The Whirlwinds unscored on through nine straight ball games yielded a touchdown and extra point in the second quarter and were apparently hanging on the ropes Their defense however kept evading that knockout punch and they gradually began to wear down the Blackhawks The Whirlwinds stormed 72 yards on 12 maneuvers late in the third quarter with Quarter back Billy Carmack sneaking over from the one for the score A pass-interference penalty in the end zone had moved the ball from the eight to the one when it appeared the
