announced Friday that he's doing it again Stassen a former governor of Minnesota who lost the Republican presidential nomination to Thomas Dewey in 1948 and to nearly every Republican nominee since said he will take on President Reagan in the 1984 GOP primary elections Reagan has not said whether he will seek re-election But Stassen said he expects Reagan to run again And Stassen is fairly familiar with Republican presidential politics He already has run against Dwight Eisenhower and Richard Nixon and Barry Goldwater and Gerald Ford and even Ronald Reagan Harold Stassen has lost but he has not given up the chase "I have concluded that notwithstanding all the obvious difficulties of which I am well aware I have a moral obligation to make that challenge to bring forward the creative
