OCTOBER-The Largest Sales in Our History. "EVER TO THE FRONT" Is Our Motto. Only a few months ago this business was started in a small way in a little rented store on Broadway. By close attention to business, broad and liberal dealings, polite and courteous treatment and a desire at all times to gire its custoners the most dependable merchandise to be found anywhere at- moderate prices, this store has forced its way to the front, eclipsing anything in the way of modern merchandising in this section. The pride of this business is the two large store rooms that we occupy, the largest stores in Western North Carolina, filled full of all sorts of the very best merchandise that can be found in this country, at prices that will appeal to you.

This is one store that everybody that comes to town will come to see before they leave. We want more new business. We have a large force of clerks for an extra business from now to X-mas. NEXT WEEK WE WILL SELL nica Brittain West Albemarle Davis Hooper of Virginia. Charlotte Observer.
