He is survived by his wife, six children and a brother, Albert. Interment will be in Paramount. MRS, ANNA STRATCIIKO Mrs. Anna (Goida) Stratchko, 16 Grove street. McAdoo Heights, died Thursday afternoon in the State General Hospital after an illness of three weeks.

Born in Beaver Meadows, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Peck. She was a member of the Church of the Assumption, St. Mary's, McAdoo.

Her husband, Joseph, died July 7, 1965. Surviving, besides her parents, are the following sons and daugh ters: John, Edward and Mrs. Anna Giranda, all at home; Mrs. Gerald (Mary) Dinsmore, McAdoo; Mrs. John (Betty) Haber, this city, and Mrs.

Charles (Joan) Samitz, Philadelphia. Seven grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. John (Helen) Renderwicz, An dreas, and a brother, Wassil, Jim Thorpe, also survive. The funeral will be held at 9 a. m.

Wagner, 60 Tamaqua street, Audenried, a retired carpenter, died at 8:55 a.m. today at his home. Born in Hazleton, he was a son of the late John and Ellen (Thom as) Wagner. Prior ot his retirement in 1959, he had been employed by the Lehigh and Wilkes-Barre Coal Glen Aldcn Coal and the Honey brook Water Co. Surviving are his wife, the former Edith Kramer, five children, Karl Weathcrly; Evelyn and Dorothy, at home; James Carlisle.

Wiliam H. McAdoo; and seven grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Walter J. and Edmund, this city. The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a.m.

ALEXANDER MAXWELL Alexander Maxwell, 80, of 39 North Broad street, West Hazleton, died last night at 9:35 o'clock at the State General Hospital, where he had been admitted yesterday morning. Until his retirement 10 years ago, the deceased had been employed as an engineer for the Lehigh Valley Railroad. He had spent most of his life in West Hazleton and was a member of of St. Peter's Episcopal Church.

Born in Highland April 19, 1886, he was a son of the late Arthur and Mary (Lemon) Maxwell. Surviving are a sister, Mary (Mae) Maxwell, and a brother, Walter Maxwell, both at home. The funeral will be held Monday at 11 a. m. from the Krapf and; Hughes Funeral Home with Rev.

MINERVA HEILMAN Mrs. Minerva (Glasser) Heilman, 85, of 3043 Maple street, Muhlen berg Park, near Reading, mother of Mrs. Thomas (Hildred) Boyle, McAdoo, died Thursday at her home. Her husband, George Heilman, died May 2, 1961. She was a member of St.

Mark's Lutheran Church. Surviving in addition to Mrs. Boyle, wife of the administrative assistant to the Hazleton Area School District, are two granddaughters, Joan, wife of Jerome Kochinsky, a teacher in the Muhlenberg Township School District with whom she resided; and Jacqueline, wife of Dr. John Rusnock, Ramblewood, N.J.; and four greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday at 1 p.m.

He most recently served as pres ident of the Nesquehoning Borough Authority, maintaining an interest in the community since its incor poration as a borough in 1964.

The deceased was a past pre dent of the former Carbon, Schuyl kill and Luzerne Italian Day Out ing Association, and a director of the Nesquehoning Building and Loan Association and Carbon-Schuylkill Industrial Development Corp. Surviving are his wife, five daughters, three brothers, one sister and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be held Monday at 9:30 a. m. from the Sniscak Funeral Home, Nesquehoning.

"Buddy" Schuster Jr. of 836 Water street. He had been in the basement shipping- room of the newspaper with two other youths, also part-time employees, who went to the first floor to punch their time clocks. When they returned to the shipping room they saw Schuster wedged between the gate of the elevator and an opening at the ceiling. One of the boys pushed a but ton which lowered the elevator and the body dropped to the floor.

Deputy Coroner Joseph Hicks of Pottsville said the youth lived only several sec onds after that and died of a crushed chest and crushed head. The accident occurred at 8 p. m. Schuster was a senior student at Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville, and was the son of Mr. and Mrs.

Clarence Schuster. One Driver Slightly Hurt in Two-Car Crash One of the drivers received slight lacerations of both hands when two cars collided at 8th street and Lee court at 12:40 p. m. yesterday. Andrew Paul Surmick, 424 West Broad street, was treated at the State General Hospital dispensary.

City police said Surmick was going east on Eighth street when the crash occurred with the other car, driven by Edward J. Skicki, 673 Grant street, traveling south on Lee court. Surmick was taken to the hos pital in the police cruiser. Skicki's car was towed to Ecker garage on South Church street. AMBULANCE CALLS The West Hazleton Ambulance this morning took Helen Braskie, 335 Winters avenue, West Hazleton, to St.

Joseph Hospital; and Joseph Valovich, 334 Winters avenue, West Hazleton, home from the State Hospital. Supon, Weston, who died Tuesday at the State General Hospital, was held this morning from the Harman Funeral Home, Rock Glen.
