Good Dog a super-intelligent golden retriever that can read spell and find stuff even more quickly than Lassie The downside is that the bad dog a kind of canine evil twin is repre- sented by a special effect so badly designed that even Timmy be scared Even so the younger of two famous Coreys (Haim this time) does the Timmy role to a turn playing a young teen with all the exuberance and natural elan of well a young teen When the two dogs escape from a top-secret government lab Haim and his mom become the guardians of Good Dog and soon come to understand by the trail of blood that keeps leading to their doors that Bad Dog has an obsession with their new pal The true menace prowls on two feet however That would be the government agent (Michael Ironside) who is charged with capturing the monster
