He possessed a bright intellectual mind, a kina and generous dis position, which gave promise of a life of usefulness to the world and comfort to his parents in their declining years, but an all-wise providence, who knows beat, has taken from this heme the only son of this family, and, as we believe, made him a member of that crest multitude who have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Only short time before his death Le expressed to his sisters a desire to go to heaven, saying, that he had friends there and wished to ioin was a member ef our Suouay achool and was generally found in his olasa. During his severe sufferings he complained but little, and it was remarkable how he could bear his sufferings as he did. Even a person of mature aire could not have been more na- tient than waa little Craven, but his suffer-1 ings are over; he has gone from that home and tbitt vacant place in that family circle can never be filled here, but we trust that another circle may be found in heaven, when father, mother and little aisleis join little Craven who ha cone before.
