PBA title Pedersen averaged 240 to win the $23000 top prize at Fair Lanes Capital Plaza for his third career pro title Last week in the Toledo Trust PBA National Championship 'Pedersen averaged 253 for three games to earn $49000 almost decided not to frowl this said Peder-jen only the 21st player to win back-to-back PBA titles had bowled every tournament this year 13 without a break And I want to Suffer burnout I was throwing the ball so well and it had been a long time since I had thrown it that well So 1 decided to bowrl and here I am again" After Richard Bramwell of Escondido Calif $5000 Sports Council sets up shop Numerous Dade County community leaders have been named to the Greater Miami Sports Council with the aim of organizing efforts to bring more events and teams to the area The council was not formed with the specific goal of helping bring an NBA franchise to Miami but Chamber of Commerce Chairman Larry Adams a member of the council said can only help reinforce the seriousness of this community in its quest for an NBA Rick Horrow former executive director of the Miami Sports and Exhibition Authority is the volunteer chairman Among the other 40-plus members are
