RHS Class of 28 Plans Reunion At Casa Mana Members of the class of 1928 at Ridgewood High School will celebrate their 20th Reunion with a Fall Dinner-Dance to be held October 23 at 7:30 pm. at Casa Mana, Teaneck. Husbands and wives of classmates are invited, and a full program of entertainment will be presented during and after dinner. Members who cannot attend are asked to send a letter or message which can be read during the evening. Questionnaires asking for class statistics have been mailed to class members, and those who have not yet been contacted are asked to call one of the committee listed below.

Anyone knowing the address of class members who have moved away is also asked to contact the reunion committee. A complete list of present addresses together with statistical information will be circulated to all members of 28 at a later date. Reservations for dinner must be completed by1 September 30, and checks for dinner should accompany questionnaires. Checks should be made payable to Oscar T. Madame Louise of Paris And Paterson Milliner To Conduct Ramsey Show Luncheon at the Swiss Chalet, Ramsey at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, followed by a hat fashion show is on the program for the first fall meeting of Ramsey Womans Club. Jean Anderson of Paterson, and Madame Louise of New Yark, Paris and Vienna, will conduct the fashion show. Models, drawn from the club the Constance Bannister MRS. VERNON VAN ATTA GREENE A candlelight service in the chapel of the Riverside Church, New York City, united in marriage yesterday afternoon, Miss Barbara May Bennett, daughter of Mrs. Myra Wardle-Bdnnett of 319 East Franklin Turnpike, Ridgewood, and Vernon Van Atta Greene, noted cartoonist and illustrator.

Dr. C. Ivar Hellstrom, pastor, officiated at five oclock and a reception at the Mens Faculty Club, Columbia University, followed. Hie groom is the son of Mrs. Letha Greene of Battle Ground, and the late Mr.

Greene. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, James G. Bennett. Her gown wsfe of white satin two drapes of marquisette on the sides of the skirt forming a long train. It was made with a bateau neckline, marquisette yoke, small Tound collar, long sleeves, peplum and bustle.

Her scalloped fingertip veil was bordered with chenille and hung from a beaded coronet. She carried an old-fashioned bouquet of gladioli and pompons. Matron of honor was Mrs. Bruce Greene, sister-in-law of the groom. She wore a silver-green gown of slipper satin made with a square neckline and with tiny buttons down the front of the bodice.

The skirt was draped in three wide folds in front. Matching mitts and ostrich-tip headdress completed her costume. She carried an old-fashioned bouquet of pale yellow asters. Bridesmaids in Rose The bridesmaids, Miss Mary Clark and Miss Betty Blodgett of New York City, former classmates of the bride and now nurses at New York Hospital, were attired in gowns styled, like that of the matron of honor, but in dusty-rose color. Their accessories were also similar, matching their gowns and they carried pale yellow asters.

Susan Greene, niece of the bridegroom, was flower girl, wearing pale pink organdy with a matching shirred organdy headband. William Smith of New York City, artist and illustrator, served as best man. Ushers were Murray Berko-witz, advertising executive of King Features Syndocate, and James new John McKinnon 63 N. Van Dien Ave. Ridgewood 6-4760 Petru-ello, anthropologist.

The mother of the bride chose a copper-colored jacquard print with black accessories for her daughters wedding. Her corsage of talisman roses was pinned to her purse. When the couple left for Mount Tabor, the bride was wearing a bottle-green gabardine suit with brown accessories. They plan to live in New tTork. Miss Bennett was graduated from Ridgewood High School and the School of Nursing of Cornell University.

She is an R. N. attached to the staff of the New York Hospital. Mr. Greene was a sports cartoonist and comic strip artist who created the comic strip conception of "The Shadow.

He was also editorial cartoonist for International News and feature cartoonist for Pic Magazine. He served in the air forces as a medical photographer and artist and is now illustrating while studying for his BA in philosophy at Columbia University.
