high-strung Chicago cop Though It's not a fresh idea the series has potential primarily because of the two leads It could develop into the hit that CBS so desperately needs this season Michael Pare who plays the exiled Windy City cop Joseph La Flamma has cover boy good looks that mask a glowering intensity Filmgoers may recognize him as the title character from "Eddie and the Cruisers" or the gets into trouble with organized crime honchos in Chicago It's decided that he'd better get out of town until things cool off so he's soon sent to Houston to participate in a special police exchange
