Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Max Graver, the David Barton family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Montgomery visited Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Graver at Aledo Sunday. Guests irt the home of Mr. and Mrs. Max Graver .June 2a were Mr. and Mrs. William Graver of Green Rock, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Graver of Aledo, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Barton and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Montgomery. Mr. and Mrs. K. L. Madsen of Rock Falls were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Preston Wettaw. 'Mr. and Mrs. Jack Scott and family moved Saturday from the William Kauffman residence on Main Street to an apartment at the C. G. Carnahan home recently vacated by the Alden Johnson family, Mr. and Mrs. F. 0, Plainbeck Gdlesbur of Rock Island Sunday were guests in the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Youngberg. Mrs. C. A. Swanson accompani­ ed Mr. and Mrs, Charles McEIroy of London Mills, Mrs, Doris Wool* ey of Milan and Mrs. Edwin Lyons of Orion to Loveland, Colo., June 30. The group is visiting Mr. and Mrs. Irwin Calkins, Mrs. McElroy's son-in-law and daughter, also Timmy Calkins, who is seriously ill. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Ray Hendrickson of Poway, Calif,, and Mr. and Mrs. P. C. Briggs of Ophiem were Monday visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. L. L. WalJin. PRINTED PATTERN Media Church I Attendance 4 Contest Held MEDIA — The young adult class being the losers will entertain the men and women's classes with a supper at the church Saturday at 6 p.m. This closes the contest for church attendance with the men's class as winners. The youth group was entertained Saturday in the Earl and Mary Lee Taylor home. A hamburger fry was featured. Those attending were Jeff and Debbie White. Anna Lee Milse and Gene Rockel, Phyllis Shelton, Kay White, Rodney Bower, Elmer Berg and Linda Barber. Media Briefs Lee McGeehon entertained a birthday party in his home Thursday honoring his birthday. Those attending were Mr. and Mrs. Max Lout and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lout and family and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gulick and daughters of Kirk wood. Mr, and Mrs. Chuck White were Saturday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Forbes at supper at the Chuck Wagon in Roseville, honoring Mrs. White's birthday. Amy Davis, Diane Peterson and Kathy Noerly are attending Bible camp at Washington this week. Mrs. Nellie Palmer spent the weekend in the Charles Bosur and Verlea Palmer homes in Burlington. Mr. and Mrs. Eldon White returned home Wednesday from a visit with their son-in-law and daughter and family in Amarillo, Tex., and a trip to the Gulf. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. Leo Sullivan and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Isaacson in Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Quigley and family attended a picnic Sunday at Monmouth Park in honor of her nephew, Larry Sherwood, who is \\ome on leave from the Marines. Mr. and Mrs, Emory Cavins went to Macomb Sunday to see his aunt, Mrs, Daisy West, who is ill in the McDonough County Hospital. Mrs. Harold Brouse and granddaughters, Amy and Mary Ann Davis spent a few days in the home of her son-in-law and daughter and family, Mr, and Mrs. Lowell Kumler in Aurora. The Pinochle Club met Wednesday with Mrs. Mary Cavins. Mr. and Mrs. Ora Reid and daughters attended the Reid picnic at Macomb Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Walker, Donnie and Janice spent the weekend in Chicago.
