Laura H. Sampson, 82, of 207 East Bertsch street, Lansford, died yesterday at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, State Senator and Mrs. William Z. Scott. Surviving in addition to Mrs.

Scott are two sons, John L. Sandusky, Ohio; and Richard serving with the Navy in Iceland; a brother, Richard L. Holmes, Lansford; and seven grandchildren. Seaman Weston will report to Key West, Florida, for two months upon completion of his stay at home. Mrs. Andrew Hasara N. Side Woman Taken in Death Mrs. Susan Hasara, wife of Andrew Hasara, East South street, Freeland, died at 10:55 p.m.

Wednesday at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, where she had been a patient six weeks. She and her husband operated Andy's Meat Market, 610 South street, Freeland. Born in Freeland, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Soltis.

Her father was in the moving and storage business in the North Side community for over 50 years. The deceased was a member of St. John's R. C. Church, Freeland, and the Altar and Rosary Society of the parish, and the Catholic MRS.

JAMES REDCLIFFE Mrs. Theresa Redcliffe, 34, wife of James Redcliffe, 300 East Center street, Mahanoy City, was dead on arrival at 4:10 p.m. Wednesday at the State Hospital. A quality inspector at the Tung-Sol Electric Inc. plant, Weatherly, the woman was stricken ill at work about 1:45 p.m.
