12 Hazleton Standard-Speaker, Wednesday, December 21, 1994 Holy Spirit students hold yule program grade class offered the following songs and poems: "Ring, Ring the Bells," "T'was The Night Before Christmas," and "We Wish You A Merry Christmas. The performers included: Kelly Alexander, David Baxter, Melissa Bonomo, Megan Caputo, Nina Ciarla, Dena DeJoseph, Dennis Evans, Jonathan Evans, Corey Fazio, Kayleigh Gallagher, Amanda Hopeck, Marc Horinko, Thomas Hornick, Richard Hydock, Ashley Kelly, Raymond Klocek, Ryan Kowalski, James McAndrew, Salvadore Merola, Loc Nguyen, John Sheppard, Andrew Skuba, Michael Stanley, Tara Synoraski, Kayla Trently, Marisol Velez, Kevin Vito, John Wezner, Ashley Woolbert, Kayleen Wright. Mrs. Marcia Costell accompanied her fourth grade class on the piano as they performed Come, Little Children," "Night of Silence" in harmony and "Christmas Calypso." Those participating were: Marisa Binder, Kenneth Cara, Julia Chacinski, Joseph Chunko, Brittany Conahan, John Dougherty, Jason Farley, Mark Fellin, Nicholas Ferrari, Mary Kathryn Fox, Jennifer Hornick, Sarah Jones, Eugene LaBuz, Elizabeth Lamont, Heather Lentz, Erick. Lucadamo, Justine Maggio, Melissa Marusak, Robert Moore, John Natt, Kimberly Natt, Tina Pendergast, Paul Petruzzi, Rebecca Pierotti, Mychal Seltzer, April Solensky, Brad Somers, Patrick Sosar, Mary Kate Trishman, Daniel Viera, James Ward and Christian Werkeiser.

Mrs. Linda Kistler's fifth grade class performed a play entitled "The Legend of the Star" and sang "Star of Bethlehem." The performers included: Robert An-tinozzi, Sheree Barnes, Ann Barrett, Maria Beltrami, Desiree Cabell, Caroline Ciotola, Melissa DiSabella, Ethan Dolan, Patrick Dolon, Jonathan Evancho, Paul Farley, Colleen Farley, Jason Fet-chko, Anthony Holly, Beth Ann Howey, Fallon Kowalczyk, Kimberly Kroll, Angela LaMonica, Malinda Lehman, Daniel Lewandowski, Amanda Macuch, Cory Murphy, Thomas Sheppard, Adam Skuba, Frank GIVING TREE Knights of Columbus Council 442 members and families picked up more than 1,000 Christmas presents from area churches and businesses and delivered them to Catholic Social Services Sunday. Miss Diane DeFluri's a.m. and p.m. pre-school and Mrs. Mary Theresa Dougherty's kindergarten classes performed a medley of songs and motion poems included: "Christmas Time Is A Time for Giving," "Christmas ABC's," "When Santa Comes Down the Chimney," "Must Be Santa," "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer," "Have a Merry and "Silent Night." Preschool participants were: Joshua Brotzman, Jonathan Caso, Amber Cheesman, Joseph D'Amato, Joseph Downey, Joseph Fanning, Samantha Ferro, Michael Hornick, Robert Hornick, Vincent Lalicata, Tamara Lehman, Anthony Martuscelli, Anne McAndrew, Tara Mae McGuire, Holly Panco, Meghan Patel, John Resovszky, Kristopher Whellis, Frank Wills, Elizabeth Yale, Alanna Yocum, Rachel Bernardyn, Ryan Caso, Amy Cheesman, Bernard Garzio, Vito Lombardo, and Samantha Nevick.

Kindergarten participants were: Blaise Caputo, Caleigh Conahan, Gabrielle Dutz, Venessa Fellin, Ginger Galade, Zachary Martini, Erika Mastroddi, Kayla Mraz, Dwayne Paxton, Sara Piacenti, Joshua Schott, Raymond Tulanowski. The pre-school students in Mrs. Rose Lee Bednarz's class and Sister M. Ursula, D.M., kindergarten classes offered the following songs and movement activities. "I Want to Give Something," "Merry Christmas," "Everyone, Oh, I'm A Little Christmas Tree," "Oh, Sweetest Baby Jesus," "A Long Time Ago," and "The Lion and The Lamb." Pre-school performers included: Nicholas Barnes, Mark Bove, Ryan Dura, Lucia Dutz, Christopher Fadule, Justin Horinko, Steven Hornick, Tyler Kowalczyk, Kaitlyn Leshko, Nicole Mariano, Michael Martin, Scott Sacco, Lauren Stich, Jared Williams.

Kindergarten participants were: Meghan Bell, Christopher Binder, Matthew Brasavage, Alison Con-lin, Rebecca DiSabella, Anthony DiSabella, Christa Generose, Jonathan Gil, Kaitlyn Hopeck, Alicia Jevit, Megan Kapuschin-sky, Kevin Klauss, Haley Lentz, Jeremy Medash, Rae Lynn Molinaro, Gina Oberto, Sara Parsons, Destini Petruzzi, Muriel Skuba, Ryan Tombasco, and Lori Ann Zubris. Miss Lori Horvath and Mrs. Michele Jazowski's first grade classes jointly performed: "The -Meaning of the Symbol of Christmas," "Christmas Star," "Hear the Bells," "Joy to the World," and "He Cared for Me." Participants included: John Beltrami, Nicole Capparell, Paul Capparell, Travis Dolan, T'Rese Evancho, Joseph Evancho, Joshua Farley, Amber Hornick, Christopher Johnson, David Kishbaugh, Brandon Kowalczyk, Steven Kowalski, Sarah Lagana, Vincent Mainiero, Megan Marinock, Christopher Pavlick, Nicholas Pupko, Nadine Rebar-chick, Timothy Trently, Alysia Uliano, Josue Velez, Angela Vito, Christopher Ward, Ronald Bab-bish, Travis Bender, Alexandra Blahosky, Neil Ciotola, Frank D'Angelo, James DiSabella, Geneva Evancho, George Fanning, Lauren Fisher, Patrick Gallagher, Kaitlyn Hayes, Albert Leonard, Ashley Manganelli, Rosellen Marchese, Justin Murphy, Anthony Palermo, Nicholas Petrole, Jonathan Pierotti, Bianca Roman, Amanda Schellhamer, Joseph Sweet, Nicholas Tarone, Tricia Vasdello, Amanda Viechec, Rachel Wisemiller and Dominic Yale. Mrs. Sharon Pedri's second grade performed "Jingle Bell Rock," "The Animals' Christmas Eve," and "The Drummer Boy." Michael Dougherty played the drum for "The Drummer Boy" song.

The students of grade six presented an "International Christmas" relating customs and traditions celebrating Christmas in countries around the world. They also led the audience in singing "Let There Be Peace on Earth." Performing the song in sign language were: Erin Trishman, Rebecca Yeselski, Brigid Scarp, Jessica DeAngelo and Melissa Casaldi.

Others participating were Jamie Aspenleiter, Scott Attore, Melissa Beltrami, Bruce Bezick, Candace Bodnar, Nicole Bonomo, Brendan Boyle, Zachary Capparell, Richard Caputo, Nicole Cerullo, Talia DeFalco, Damien Dolan, Elizabeth Ellis, Nicole Fenkner, Vincent Figueiredo, Timothy Fox, John Gallagher, Damian Makuta, Stephen Mihal, Allison Rebarchick, Steven Sanko, Edward Sosar. Mrs. Janet Hartman provided piano accompaniment to various classes musical selections. Mrs. Alice Flynn is principal at Holy Spirit Academy.

In uniform Marine Pvt. John P. Stolarik, son of Bonnie L. Myers, Wap-wallopen, has completed recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. New Marines are taught the basics of battlefield survival, the daily military routine and personal and professional standards.
