Mrs. Linda Kistler's fifth grade class performed a play entitled "The Legend of the Star" and sang "Star of Bethlehem." "I Want to Give Something," "Merry Christmas," "Everyone, Oh, I'm A Little Christmas Tree," "Oh, Sweetest Baby Jesus," "A Long Time Ago," and "The Lion and The Lamb." The students of grade six presented an "International Christmas" relating customs and traditions celebrating Christmas in countries around the world. In uniform Marine Pvt. John P. Stolarik, son of Bonnie L. Myers, Wap-wallopen, has completed recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C. New Marines are taught the basics of battlefield survival, the daily military routine and personal and professional standards.
