2 Hazleton Standard-Speaker, Friday, May 23, 1997 Rihoralo Susan Silock Susan Silock, 94, a guest at the Hazleton Geriatric Center, formerly of Hazleton Heights, died late Wednesday evening at Hazleton General Hospital. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary (Balaski) Harom. She was a member of Holy Trinity Slovak Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Joseph, 1959; a son, John; and sisters, Helen Mishkin, Anna Demjanish and Mary Sharwarko. Surviving are sons, Joseph and Thomas, both of Hazleton; five grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 8:30 a.m. from the Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Hazleton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in Holy Trinity R.C.

Church. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery. Friends may call today from 7 to 9 p.m. LONG FUNERAL SAT. The funeral for Thomas J.

Dorothy A. Stanek Dorothy A Stanek, of 225 E. Fell Summit Hill, died Thursday in Gnaden-Huetten Nursing Home, Lehighton. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sophie (Lesch) Zola. She was a member of St.

Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Summit Hill, and the Panther Valley Golden Agers. At one time she worked at Ruth's Garment Factory, Summit Hill. Surviving are her husband, Frank sons, Frank Summit Hill, and Greg, Cooper-sburg; a brother, Steven, Hazleton; a sister, Wanda Broton, Hazleton; a grandson; a granddaughter; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Thomas Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W.

Fell Summit Hill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Stanislaus R.C. Church.

Burial will be in Sky View Memorial Park, Hometown. Friends may call today from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Carmela Stola Cannela Stola, of 548 Hayes Hazleton, died early Thursday morning at Hazleton-St.

Joseph Medical Center following a short illness. Born in Hazleton, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Sophia (Colicigno) Crocamo, and spent her entire life in the area. She graduated from Hazleton High School. She was a member of Most Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Ralph; a son, Anthony; and sisters, Mary Pic-cione and Sophia Parrell.

Surviving are sons, Joseph, West Hazleton, and Ralph, Hazleton, nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the Obituaries Nicole M. Pituch Nicole M. Pituch, 22, of 20 W.

Bertsch Lansford, died Wednesday in her home. Born in Lehighton, she was a daughter of Jack Hager of Jim Thorpe, and Mrs. Larry (Marge) Skelly Schnell of Franklin Township. She lived her entire life in this area. She was a hostess at the Beacon 443 Diner in Lehighton and a member of the Diligent Fire Co.

of Jim Thorpe. Surviving is her husband, David T. Pituch, with whom she celebrated their first wedding anniversary in February. Also surviving are her stepfather; sons, Jacob Tout and Kodie Pituch, both at home; a stepson, David J. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Henry and Catherine (DeJohn) Solt. He was an Army vet-eran of World War II, ,3 and was stationed in central Europe. He was a member of Im-manuel Lutheran Church, Burholme, and lived in Philadelphia for more than 50 years. Surviving are his wife, also a native of Hazleton, the former Ethel G. Painton; a daughter, Linda J.

Wiley, Burholme; a granddaughter; and a greatgrandchild. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the David G. Richardson Funeral Home, 7450 Oxford Philadelphia. Burial will be in Lawn view Cemetery, Rockledge, Pa.

Myrtle Litweiler Myrtle Litweiler, 82, of 809 Pine Mahanoy City, formerly of Zion Grove, died Wednesday in Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic. Born in Zion Grove, she was the daughter of the late Guy and Elizabeth (Valentine) Ulshafer.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Mahanoy City, and the Dorcus Class of the parish. Before retiring, she was a sewing machine operator at the City Shirt Factory, Mahanoy City. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, was her husband, Sterling, who died in 1974. Surviving are a son, Sterling Vestal, N.Y.; daughters, Saundra Loftus, Mahanoy City, and Elizabeth A.

Richards, Orlando, a sister, Clair Haines, Lafayette Hill; 13 grandchildren; and 20 greatgrandchildren. The funeral will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's United Church of Christ. The Rev.

Pine Hazleton, formerly of McAdoo, died Wednesday at Mercy Health Care Center, Nanticoke. Born in Hazleton, he was the son of Cecilia (Roberts) Stronko, of Hazleton, and the late Alex Stronko (1984). He was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Hazleton, and a 1976 graduate of Hazleton Vocational-Technical School. He was a member of the Hazleton Art League, and was well-known throughout the region as a portrait artist. He was a charter member and past-officer of the Operation Overcome organization of the anthracite region.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a sister, Natalie Lapiers, Kennewick, brothers, Frederick, Ilion, N.Y., Michael, McAdoo, and Martin, Hazleton; nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Saturday at 9 a.m.' from the Boyle Funeral Home, 100 S. Wyoming Hazleton, with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 9:30 in Holy Rosary Church. Burial will be in St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Hazleton.
