area He also attended aviation school in Los Angeles during 1938-1939 Hughie became an engineer with the Southern Pacific Railroad and retired at age 68 in October of 1986 with over 40 years of service Hughie lived in the Sacramento Valley for over 55 years buying his beloved home in Rocklin during the late 1950s After the death of his mother in 1950 Hughie's father came to live with him
