A lady passenger wishing to get off at Hill street, rang for that crossing. The car came to a standstill rather suddenly. The North Charlotte car was coming at "high traction speed" and could not stop in the s-hort notice given by the forward car. The result was a collision. No one was hurt, net even a passenger who was eniovins; a cigar on the rear platform of the "front car.
