nite, Nov. Knise your salary at either day Indian Skeleton Is Uncovered AUSTIN Archaeologists have excavated an Indian skeleton on the University of Texas campus. The "dig" took place in a large wooden box at the University Bx- tension Service with advanced archaeology students participating under the direction of Anthropology Department Chairman T. N. Campbell.

The skeleton was found near Leander before the war by a Southwestern University archaeologist, and was recently given to the University of Texas. It had been removed from its orginial site in the block of dirt in which it was found, and was placed in a large box. The box was brought to Austin by Dr. J. C.

Kclley of the University of Texas Anthropology Department. Students went to work with cameras, notebooks and excavation tools to remove the skeleton in the most scientific manner. The bones nnd artifacts are being added to the University Anthropology Museum. Gene Shaw is visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs.
