July 2. 1963 5 FIDELITY FEDERAL'S REPORT TO GALESBURG FIDELITY FEDERAL, your specialized savings association now in its 70th year of service, continued to set records during the first six months of 1963. Invested savings reached a new high of $29,022,184.22 as thousands saved for a new home, retirement or other goals. These thrifty folks were rewarded substantially with earnings of $565,000 paid during the six month period. Savings made funds available for home lending so that more families could live better in their own homes, more workers found employment in building and allied industries, and more consumers had money to spend. Home loans advanced by us now amount to $28,642,923.10. Our officers and directors are fully informed about housing and home financing needs of our area. They are determined that our Association, in every way, shall assist families in the building of personal security.
