Mr and Mrs Lester Mason have been down two or three times this week to visit us. We were over to visit Jess' cousin and wife, Jim and Mary Phillips at Lowery on Thursday. They had been down with the flu but were able to be up and about. I would like to have gone to Sena Church tonight but it was too cold and rainy. I sure Ho hope it doesn't snow.

Had a letter from our daughter and she said it was awful cold at Blackwell. We were in Siloam one day last week. Mrs Johnny Comingdeer is sick. Saturday morning and the temperature is around 40 decrees. We thought it would snow last night.

Singing Set For Sunday The Freewater Baptist Church will host the Regular Fifth Sunday Singing this Sunday. Jan. 26, from 2 to 4 The December singing was cancelled due to conflicts with holiday events. The public is invited. Abels announce the birth of a daughter. Amy Lynn, weight 7 pounds 7 ounces, at Siloam Springs (Ark.) Memorial Hospital, Sunday, Jan. 12. The grandparents are Dr and Mrs C.C. Abels, Westville, and Dr and Mrs John Meyer, Alberta, Canada.

Mr and Mrs Terry Rose, Westville, announce the birth of a daughter, Jamie Lynn, weight 7 pounds 6 ounces, at Hastings Hospital, Tahle quah, Jan. 7. The grandparents are Mr and Mrs John K. Rose, Wright Chapel Community; and Mr and Mrs John B. Pumkin, Lyons, Okla.

Davis, making an Inspirational talk, told his listeners to have patience with themselves during adoles- I 8 Mrs Judkins, 57 Dies in Muskogee Mrs Harold (Martha Jane) Judkins, 57, a former resident of Westville, died Friday in Muskogee.

Mrs Judkins, born April 7, 1918, in Westville. moved to Muskogee about 40 years ago. She was a graduate of Westville High School. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Harold Judkins of.

County officers ruled that Richards had taken his own life. Sheriff Dan Abbott said Richards was holding a .22 caliber rifle when he was found in his bedroom. He had been in ill health with a heart ailment for- some time, it was said. Richards, born Feb. 18.

1916, in Adair County, served as a rural mail carrier at Proctor for 22 years. He moved to Westville two years ago following his retirement. Survivors include: his wife, Mrs Aubrey Richards of the home; one daughter, Deloris Hendrix. Proctor; two sons, Kenneth Richards, Sallisaw, and Jerry Richards, Anaheim, one sister, Ina Smith. Westville; five brothers, George Richards, Westville, Avery Richards, Monte- be I lo, Leonard Richards, Whittier, Robert Richards, Sacramento, and Joe Richards, Leonard, and 13 grandchildren.
