O. J. Mullins of Sioux City, preached a noble sermon Sunday morning at the Second Baptist church Rev. W. H.

Smith of Slater, spent a few days here on business. Gertrude Woods who has been spending a few days with Mrs. Roberta Thrlkles left for Kansas City, Sunday morning. Mr. Isaac Ward is still on the sick list.

Ella Harris, died June 2. Father Bannle of Kansas City, with the assistance of Rev. Ma-loney officiated. The floral offer ings were very beautiful. He leaves a wife, brother-in-law, sister-in-law and a host of friends to mourn her loss.

She leaves a son. two sisters, brother-in-law and a host of friends to mourn her loss The annual sermon of the Sir Knights and Daughters will take place at Frances St. Baptist Church the Srd Sunday in June.
