Pearl Alexander, are putting out tho most efficient work of any of the now eleven factories. This Is a statement made by one of the managers in the past week. The employees will work by the piece. The first week they will receive a bonus of $12.00. tho second week $11.00 bonus and the amcnit of money made by tho piece work and so on for twelve weeks when they will have developed more speed and accuracy and can work on their own merit.

William Williams and wife were called here on account of tho death of his niece, Credella Burton. They returned to their home In Kansas City Sunday evening. Credella Burton who died Sunday night, Jan. 8, was buried Sunday evening at 2:30. Her funeral was held at the Second Baptist Church, which sho was a member.

Tho funeral was conducted by Rev. C. A. Roberts. She was a young lady who had man friends and she was sixteen years old.

She will be missed by her schoolmates. She leaves to mourn her loss a mother, grand father, grandmother, three aunts and a host of relatives and friends. Leo Etta 5Iayberry who has been on the sick list for several days is able to be out again and her friends are glad to see her out so she can get back to her church work which she Is- a President of the Senior Girl's Club of the Second Baptist church.
