Mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Christ the King Catholic Church. Burial will be in Montecito Claude King, S.B. Claude Evans King 78, a 36-year resident of San Bernardino, died Monday in Colton. He was a native of South Carolina.

Before retiring he was a restaurateur. He was a Presbyterian. Survivors include a son, Claude E. Jr. of Cherry Valley and a sister, Clare Shirreffs of Los Angeles.
