A program was presented, with Rev, R, P. Liftton as master of ceremonies. Rev. Charles Eastih gave the invocation. Music was by Mike Lowe and his stage band, Dresnt Readied M. H, Schweitzer, chairman of the doctors procurement commit* IM, was introduced, He stated, "What was only a dream three years ago is now a reality, facing statistics that show 79 per cent of the graduate doctors are now going to such specialties as surgery, orthopedics, medical research and portions in government, with only 2i per cent becoming family doctors, this community is Indeed fortunate to find such a man, one who wants to be your family doctor." Schweitzer introduced the oth­ er four members of his committee, John Allaman, Arthur seder- wall, Jack Brokaw and Mrs, Dale Rawhouser, secretary. Sed- erwall introduced the new doctor, who responded. Eugene Fassett Jr., past president of Lions Club, was introduced and brought greetings from the club and also presented Dr. Lindo with a check. Dr. Lindo thanked the club. The benediction was by Rev. Walker Butler, Biggsville Methodist Church. Refreshments were served by women of tho Rotetta and two Biggsville churches. The floral centerpiece on the serving table was arranged by Miss Cynthia Seymour, member of the Biggsville Belles 4-M Club. Dr. and Mrs. Lindo and their two children have moved from Galesburg into the* Fred Saben house vacated earlier by the Larry Sterett family. The bridegroom, son of Mrs. Velma Scanlon of Colusa and the late Eldred Cook, is a grandson of the Arthur Cooks. Following the ceremony and reception the newtyweds left on.a wedding trip to the Ozarks.
