WOR. Organ Recital WABC. Dalton Brothers Trie 3 ftf A f.l Oft rMI Wf4 A new and more powerful shortwave station than that which started broadcasting last year will be constructed shortly at Belgrade, according to A. J. Green, president of the International Short-Wave Club.

East Liverpool, Ohio. The station will be under control of the Central Press Bureau. "In the meantime," Mr. Green said, "the Belgrade Short-Wave Jladio Station is already beginning the most important part of its new twork, that of broadcasting to our emigrants in the Transatlantic countries. From midnight on the thirty-first of March-first of April, regular emissions for North and South America were started.

In order to ensure the full success of those transmissions, the board of the Bel-igrade Short-Wave Radio Station has made arrangements with the Short-Wave Radio Station at Eindhoven, in Holland, to transmit the Belgrade emissions on two wave-lengths: 31.28 meters, or 9590 kilocycles and 19.71 meters, or 15,220 kilocycles. Special controlled aerials will be used for these emissions. "Dr. Milan Stoyadinovitch, Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, will open the first regular emission. He will convey to Yugoslav emigrants in North and South America greetings from their mother country.

The fact that the Prime Minister is opening the first emis-eion personally proves that responsible circles attribute the greatest importance to the maintenance of cultural links with our emigrants. "Emissions will be given twice monthly, and the programs will be made up according to the wishes of the emigrants themselves." vaudevillian Fibber McGee. I'm getting out of it.
