• Meggison (Continued From Page 1) R. Coppock, 32, Council Bluffs, who was wounded in the shooting incident, are residents of Carroll County. In his order Thursday Judge Smith said, "The court finds that the motion for change of venue should be sustained and that in accordance with Section 778.10 of the 1973 Code of Iowa, change of venue should be awarded to a county in Judicial District 2-B in which no objection exists on the grounds of excitement and prejudice." Affidavits were filed by the prosecution in its resistance to the motion for a change of venue which stated that Meggison could receive a fair trial here. • Nixon (Continued From Page 1) fidential communications to the President and could be denied on grounds of executive privilege. James St. Clair, Nixon's chief Watergate- impeachment lawyer, said before filing the motion that the White House already had given up all that Watergate probers need to finish their business. The confrontation with special prosecutor Leon Jaworski followed close on Nixon's surrender of 1,308 pages of transcript to the House Judiciary Committee for its impeachment inquiry in response to another subpoena. The committee voted 20 to 18 Wednesday night, virtually along party lines, to inform the President that the materials he supplied failed to comply with its subpoena for tapes. • Time Out (Continued From Page 6) this Friday," added the Kuemper boss. OTHERS Van Hecke also remembers his 440 runners with Rich Bellinghausen, now at Buena Vista College, as being his best in that race. Bellinghausen holds the school record in that event with a 50.9. He also mentions Jeff Heisterkamp who graduated a year ago, and this year's Bill Neumayer and Mark ,Herm'sen as beTng outstanding 440 men. When it comes to sprinters, Ron Comes stands out. Comes graduated in 1971 and holds the school's 100 and 220 records with times of 10.1 and 22.7 respectively. 'For two milers, Van Hecke speaks of Greg Johnson (1973) and this year's crop of Dan Vonnahme, Mark Windschitl and Tim Gradoville. He mentioned that Gradoville, who is only a freshman, has great potential and as a youngster has run a 10:34 this spring. In the field events, the Knight boss looks to sophomore Rick Friedman in the high jump. "He did 6-1V 4 the other day and he's going to get better," said Van Hecke. "He is also going to be a good runner someday." And Van Hecke mentioned Tom Nurse in the pole vault at 12-6 and Randy Diers in the discus and shot put for doing outstanding work. COMMENT I've known Chuck for almost three years now and while we didn't always agree on certain things, one thing can be said and that he is a winner. We'll miss him here, but Denison is getting a good man and I just hope he's not too tough on Kuemper and Carroll over the next few years. However, the commission pointed out that "the record does not indicate any money loss or shortages which have been detrimental to the agricultural producers who were subject of the extensive documentation in this proceeding." Tiefenthaler testified to the commission that he has made a change in the management of the warehouse, and said he is willing to have the new manager and bookkeeper attend schools or workshops to gain knowledge in the operation of the warehouse and grain dealer activities. The commission said "due to Mr. Tiefenthaler's change in personnel and his representations to the commission that personnel, properly educated in the operation of warehouse and grain dealer activities will be retained, the warehouse license and grain dealer license should be reinstated."
