Since 1959 Wacoans have contributed $700,000 through the Foundation. As Its first project, the organization bought 50.2 acres of urban renewal land for Baylor expansion. Already Baylor hot completed $5 million irt construction on this land. Three major projects totaling $6.4 million are now under construction.

In 19 66 the Foundation successfully bid on another 100 acres. These facts alone demonstrate the wisdom of the investment. But the results only start here. With their vital role in unlocking the university's greatest period of expansion, these Wacoans hove contributed immeasurably to making Baylor a more effective economical, spiritual, cultural and educational asset to Waco.
