(UPl)-The Dallas Cowboys took to the practice field minus eight players Tuesday. Five of them were released-on waivers, two were out for medical examinations and one was called home because of the illness of his wife. Rookie halfback Don Perkins of the University of New Mexico and tackle Ray Fisher, acquired from the Pittsburgh Steelers, were sent back to Dallas for checkups.
