Women Reap Daily Dieters Honor Two Contest Winners First and second place winners, who lost 21 pounds and pounds, respectively, were honored by Ludington Daily Dieters Club Thursday evening at a potluck dinner at Blue Flame Auditorium of Michigan Consolidated Gas Co. The winners were presented with golden crowns. Plans are being made for a new contest to begin in the near future. Members were asked to weighed in at Magnusson Room of Ludington Public Library at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 12, when Mrs.

Marion Maxon will be speaker. Guests will be welcomed at this meeting and all other meetings of the club and may register for future membership if they desire. Weigh-in, preceding the dinner, showed that 36 members had lost pounds and had gained 13 pounds. High loser lost three pounds. Seven members maintained previous weights.

An arrangement of yellow snapdragons, which, with lighttapers, formed the centerpiece on the dinner table was a gift of a member. A special prize also was donated by a member. Games with prizes were enjoyed following the dinner. Opti-Mrs. Club Holds Election Of Officers Ludington Opti-Mrs.

Club held election of officers recently at the home of Mrs. F. K. Bourisseau, 709 New William St. Mrs.

I. A. Iverson was co-hostess at the meeting. Officers elected were Mrs. Laurence Organ president, Mrs.

Edgar Waldschmidt. and Mrs. David C. Elliott board members. New officers are to be installed at a carryin supper to be held May 19, at the home of Mrs.

Announced For Class Reunion Committee of Ludington High School Class of 1941, planning a class reunion for Aug. 13, met recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clare L. Howe, 803 New William St.

Announcement was made that class members are to be notified of the July 10 reservations deadline for the reunion dance. The dinner-dance is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Hotel Stearns. Committee members are seeking addresses for four class members, Mrs.

John Vizgaudis the former Cleo Peterson, Betty Ketchum, Mrs. Dorothy Anthony Westlund and Donald Roat. Anyone having any information about where mail may be addressed to them is asked to notify a member of the committee. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau national nursing honorary, Phi Kappa Phi national all-university senior honorary and Delta Gamma national social sorority. An ensign in the United States Navy Nurse Corps, Miss Houk is home until May 23, when she will report at Newport, R. for a month of basic training before going to Great Lakes Naval Hospital at Great Lakes, to begin a two-year tour of duty.
