A public meeting will be held tomorrow night to explain the plans for a $1,175,000 bond issue which will come before residents of the Soquel Creek county water district October 15. The 8 p.m. meeting at Soquel Elementary school multipurpose room is organized by the directors of the district, said Ken Izant, board president.

"It's going to be a complete rundown of the district, what we figure for future develop ment, and reasons for purchase of the Monterey Bay water company," Izant said. The bond funds, in addition to purchasing the water company, would be used for other system improvements, Izant said. On hand to explain the program will be Izant and his board Lee Craig, James McLachlan, Larry Bargetto, Ed Peretto and James Singer as well as James Saffran of Stone and Youngberg financial consultants and William Longmire of the Charles S. McCandles engineering consultant firm. "The meeting will be to bring the people up to date with what we have done and what we figure we should do," Izant said.

Cabrillo String Orchestra Needs Piano Accompanist Cabrillo college's string orchestra needs a piano accompanist. Anyone of high school age or older may try out. The class, music 25, meets at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday wilh instructor William Tyler. High school seniors, as well as persons of college age, are eligible for one unit of college credit.
