He prefers tc be known as "Chris". He bdongs to the AFS club in his own high school, so the program is familiar to him. He plans to be a veterinarian, so is interested in learning to know about farm life. His background is Irish and Slovak. Lake City looks forward to his coming. Women's homemaking 'Mountain Dew' Outfits — Trying on part of their outfits for the annual Carroll High Swing Show May 3 and 4 are, from left: John Grettenberg, David Sunderman, Ken Hanneman and Cliff Stroh. The outfits will be worn for the boys chorus number, "Good Ole Mountain Dew". The action above preceded a dress rehearsal. n:ght school will have a potluck supper and recipe-sharing meeting May 1. On May 7 Pat Haukap of Lake City will demonstrate Miraclemaid Cookware for them. Mav 14 Mrs. Fred Thompson will talk to them on flower-arranging. About 25 Y-teens plan a bus trip to Des Moines. They go Friday of this week after school, and return Saturday afternoon. They will spend the night at the YWCA and experience its advantages. Saturday they will shop and sight-see. Miss Morehouse and Mrs. Lawrence Dumdei are chaperones. Mrs. Dumdei will drive the bus.
