Born In Belfast, Ireland, son of the late Samuel and Margaret Hamilton Porter, he had lived in the area 65 year.s. He operated a North Side grorery store for some 39 years and also had been employed at the old C. C. Thompson Pottery and the Homer Laughlin China Co. I Mr.
