Claims 'Persecution CLEMSON SC lPi Clemson University officials expressed surprise today at the severity of sanctions ordered by the Natioiril Collegiate Athletic Association on its basketball team but acknowledged that the university will comply a pei seculion not a said university legal counsel Joseph McDevitt of the NCAA investigation that led to the sanctions The NCAA in a ruling released in
