amusement-park equipment once the sale is closed according to the spokesman Drexel Properties plans to build Sheridan Cay Club a complex of 26 two-story buildings on the Pirates World property Over-all density of the project would be 16-units an acre homecooked food and space to move around in They said that although they thought they would miss television and radio they only watched the news One night on their tape TV console "There was too much else to do" observed one higher than does the Grand Funk Railroad" Nannette Goodman said that the major crisis came when ''the portapotty broke down and we had to use a jar" Eric Appel reported that the hardest part was keeping up with the schedule of testing and studies because the crew could not see the sun "But we could hear you out here" he noted The things the crewmen said they missed most were one last look at filmed segments of their stay Outside among the cheering crowd were parents and Lanny Neel Mrs Neel's husband "The nights were pretty cold at home while she was here" he said but he would let her do it again if she wanted "We are both scientifically oriented" he explained "It was 75 per cent quieter at home" felt they had learned a lot about how to get along with people how to cope with critical situations and how to walk away As State Attorney Philip Shailer put it "It was a verdict of sympathy They may have said 'not guilty' but they knew he wasn't innocent" A jury that reaches such a decision helps tear down our system of justice It was the duty of the jurors to determine whether he was guilty or ENA Fisher who supervised the simple medical tests reported that music has an effect on the condition of a persons's body "I have to report" said Rena "that Handel's 'Messiah' raises the pulse rate moved from a small church house in Fort Lauderdale to larger quarters at the former home of the Cromarty family on Andrews Avenue As the program grew in popularity it found still larger quarters on State Road 84 on a Nacre compound paid for by the program's hundreds of supporters Still later Barker decided to expand the program to serve Dade County and found a home in an airport hanger at Opa-locka Airport When the program outgrew those quarters it moved its Dade County branch to a facility at Tropical Park Racetrack Three months ago Barker announced that he would pull his program from Dade County because the drug rehabilitation "establishment" was jealous of his program and sought to deprive it of federal funds In the process he had a stormy confrontation with Metro Mayor Jack Orr Barker has since established satellite Seed programs in St Petersburg and has plans to establish them in other Florida cities as well Teenagers Due Praise I get so frustrated whenever I pick up a newspaper or a magazine and read about how bad our area children are For a change I'd like to see our teenagers praised The young men and women at Stranahan High School's Distributive Education Program are worthy of much praise Under the direction of Mrs Bruni their teacher these students provided a thoroughly enjoyable Christmas party for two of Broward County's Head Start Centers The party included a marionette show Santa's helpers candy canes toys and a delicious lunch The children were delighted As a Head Start staff member I felt that Stranahan's students de serve much more than praise for what they did Next time the community criticizes youth let's remember these DECA students and their desire to serve (V' irito e- 4 3 -tgt A 4( 7: it 4 "s43 VICE Mayor Duncanson was hooted
