The Lady Leopards got off to a big start, scoring four runs in the.first inning and another in the second, Kim Shelby and Stacy Cromer scored on Amber Rustling's two-run single. That was followed by Treas' first two- run shot over the left field fence, which gave Liberty-Eylau a 4-0 lead. North Lamar came back with two runs of its own in the bottom of the first OvmM'. The Lady Leopards took control of the game from that point, scoring three runs in the fifth, three in the sixth and two in the seventh. Shelby and Treas each scored twice, and Barber, Cromer, Rushing and Amanda Campbell each scored once. Weist scored the final run for North Lamar in the seventh.

Sulphur Springs (5-2, 7-3) scored five runs in the second inning, one in the lith and five in the sixlh to 10-run the visiting Lady Cats, who fell to 0-7 in league play and 3-8 overall. LaTresea McGill was 2-for-3 with two runs scored for the Lady Wildcats, while Merideth Boyle had three RBIs and a run scored. Rachel Cogburn was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, while Amber Holt was 1- for-3 with two RBIs and two runs scored. Paris' Tippy Gordon was 1-for-3 with an RBI, while Kelly Dalrymple was 2-for-3. Blair Shelton got the loss for Paris, going two innings, giving up five hits, two earned runs and striking out one.

Mendy Boss (7-3) picked up the win, going the six-inning distance, allowing four hits, walking three and striking out 13. Sulphur Springs got 10 hits off and Abby Troutt, while the Lady Cats scattered four hits over the six inning contest. Paris travels to North Lamar Tuesday for a 4 p.m contest. In afternoon play, Homer took low gross and Wood won low net. The next Travel League Tournament will be in May at Oak Creek Country Club in Greenville. Tee time for the Wednesday event is 10:30 a.m. TRY'athlon scheduled in Paris on April 26 St. Joseph's Aerofit and Harley- Davidson will co-host the first Paris TRVathlon beginning at 9 a.m.

Bass tourney slated The Northeast Texas Anglers will be holding an Open Team Bass Tournament on Cooper Lake on May 10. Proceeds from the Tournament will go to support the Aged and Disabled Emergency Fund, which helps needy elderly and disabled people in our community.

Blossom boys baseball to hold fundraiser Blossom Boys Baseball Association will hold a fundraiser PAL draft day set for girls basketball league Police Athletic League of Paris will host a girls basketball league April 8 through May 3. Draft day will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at Crockett Middle School. Play is limited to five teams, with the age limit 11-14.

Lone Star golf tourney to help Boys each with age group during the association's annual jkJiSAti-T Family and TeafrY Divisions consist of three people one person swims, one bikes and one runs. Family teams require only two of the three people to be from the same family. The Individual Division is for people up for the challenge of doing the entire event. The distances are 325-yard swim, 20-kilometer bike and 5-K run. The Family Division will have a 12-K bike, instead of a 20-K.

Softball tourney on tap A Men's Slow-Pitch Softball Tournament wili be held Friday and Saturday at Wise Field in Paris. Entry deadline tor the event is 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 2. First and second place teams will receive T-shirts. Third place team will get a trophy.

CTW Texas Tough Pro Wrestling will debut with a big card including a double main event, with the opening match starting at 8:30 p.m.

"Killer" Tim Brooks and Bullman Downs, the defending heavyweight tag team will defend their title against the team of "Iceman" King Parsons and Al Jackson. Also included is the heavyweight title match with the Viking taking on Bobby Perez. K95.5 and Kings Inn are sponsoring the show to benefit Northeast Texas Opportunities, the senior citizens organization that helps seniors. Funds will benefit the Senior Citizens Center, energy assistance, transportation and others services for seniors.
