How To Reach Race Track i Motorists who plan to go to Santa Anita Race Track after viewing the Tournament of Roses Parade will avoid heaviest traffic by taking the following routes: Persons parked south of Colo-rado Street South to Huntington Drive, then east to the track.

Persons parked north of Colorado Street North, to Villa Street, Orange Grove Avenue or Washington Street, then east to North Foothill Boulevard and south to East Foothill Boulevard. East-west traffic will he heaviest on Colorado, Green and Walnut Streets, Thirty public comfort stations, plus tent stations at public parks and scores of other restrooms at service stations throughout the city will be available for the vast crowd here today, the Tournament of Roses Association announced. Following is a list of temporary comfort stations to be opened from 7:30 a. m. until 4 p.

Ambulances will be located at Carmclita Park, and two at these crossings: Los Robles and Colorado, Lake and Colorado, Hill and Colorado, Allen and Colorado, Sierra Madre and Colorado, and one at Colorado at Waverly Drive and Orange Grove, and at Colorado and Grand Avenue. Fire-fighting equipment will he at California Street and Broadway, Colorado and Sierra Madre Boulevard and at the Willard School.

Service For Cars There will be tow cars on Colorado Street at Los Robles and Hill Avenues and at San Gabriel Boulevard. Service cars of the Automobile Club of Southern California will be stationed at Orange Grove and Palmetto Street. Carmelita Gardens, Colorado at Raymond and at Los Robles and Lake, Hill and Ran Gabriel Boulevard and at Willard School. ALUMNI BANQUET Nebraska alumni will gather tonight at the Ambassador Hotel, Los Angeles, for a banquet and dance in the Fiesta Room. Here From Singapore One 11th hour arrival was Joe Fisher, writer and photographer from far off Singapore. One Japanese newsreel company is taking the entire parade in color for display overseas.

The British Broad-i casting Company is covering both the parade and football game. So great has boon the demand for 1 press and photography coverage credentials that Tournament ot Roses officers were forced to erect 8 second camera stand 100 feet long, in addition to the regular stand at Orange Grove Avenue and Colorado Street. Bombs Signal To Unfurl Flags About 5 a. m. today sound bombs will go off in different parts of the city to notify Pasadenans of the time to put out their flags ns another community contribution to the Tournament of Roses patriotic theme.
