Pa His parents were the late Charles Dudley Levergood and Lillian Cowles The Reverend Levergood had served 47 years as a Methodist minister and had served 44 years in Pennsylvania as a minister For the past three years he had served as associate minister of the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church in Charlotte He was a mason and past president and chaplain of the Kiwanis Club: he had been active in the Boy Scouts of America for many years The family requests that memorials be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Society Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday at the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church Services will be conducted by the Rev Herbert Garmon minister of the Hickory Grove United Methodist Church and the Rev Richard Crowder minister of the First United Methodist Church in High Point NC Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park The family will receive friends at the Harry and Bryant Chapel in the Oaks Sunday evening between the hours April 7 1972 He was born November 25 1896 in Kenosha Wisconsin He was the son of the late Robert 0 and Alice Ni-coll Mr Nicoil was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin he served in the Navy in World War I He had been associated with the Simmons Company for 35 years and had retired in 1961 Since 1961 he had been a manufacturer's representative He was a member of St Peter's Episcopal Church Myers Park Country Club the Charlotte City Club the North Charlotte Rotary Club and the Forty and Eight He is survived by his wife Mrs Charlotte Rudd Nicoil three daughters Mrs Felton Jr of Lafayette
