Texas Hopes To Have Ace Back AgainstTCU AUSTIN, Nov. 8 Ralph Ellsworth's elbow sprain was responding fairly well to treatment and hopes were high today around the University of Texas football camp that the speedy tailback would be ready to start against Texas Christian here Saturday. The Longhorns meet the Christians in their next to last Southwest Conference game and Coach D. X. Bible was working toward restoration of a backfield composed of Ellsworth, Joe Magliolo, J.

Other grid greats playing now with the Junior Aggies are Woodfin, last season the regular center with Texas Christian, John Steele, another Frog starter, and Batchelor, who played one year with the Texas Longhorns. The Red Raiders were given a day complete rest Monday, and there was no workout, but Coach Dell Morgan said that Tuesday the team would settle down to the task of getting ready for the Navy packed Aggies. The team came through the game last Saturday with Texas Christian without any injuries, and barring accidents during the week, will enter the game at top strength. The Red Raiders came back strong Saturday to -defeat Texas Christian 40 to 20, and win their first college game of the season, and hope that it will be the start to a blazing finish the grid season. Much of the spark for that comeback Saturday was provided by Buster Melton, who had been held out of the first half of the game because he "missed the bus" at Lubbock when the team left for Fort Worth.

Melton was given a unanimous vote of the team to return to the lineup, and the Red Raiders started the second haif with a 15 yard penalty while waiting for Melton to suit up and get ready for battle. jHe played great gsrne while in there, and the 15 yard setback seemed worth it. There had been much speculation among radio listeners regarding the 15 yard penalty at the start of the second half.
