government ITEM 6 FOOD STAMP COUPON ALLOTMENT Chapter 63 500 Eligibility Determinations: Current state regulations which im-ilement the eligibility end jenefit determination rules of the Food Stamp Act of 1977 do not contain coupon allot ment tables (See Manual of Policies and Procedures Sections 63 001 through 63 1000) These regulations add to the benefit and eligibility determination rules appropriate tables ot coupon issu a nee which federal and state law require be used in con junction therewith (See 7 Code ot Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 273 10 Appendix A Table Hi and Welfare and institutions Code Section 18901) These tables es re quired by federal and state law are effective on the same date as are the new eligibility and benefit determination rules These regula tions implement interpret or make specific the provisions ot Section 18901 of the Welfare and Institutions Code These regulations have been adopted on an emergen cy basis In order to allow Interested persons an oppot tumty to submit statements or arguments concerning these regulations they will be considered at a public hearing accordance with Government Cooe Section 11422 Ha) There are no reased costs ot any type as a result of these regulations There are no state mandated local costs in these regula tions that reouire reimburse merit under Section 2231 ot the Revenue and Taxation Code because these regula tions merely affirm for the state mat which has been declared existing lew or reguiaation through action br the federal government ITEM 7 REVISED IMPLE MENTATION SCHEDULE OF THE
