Sam Adams has joined the par- ty as usual, but so have many other beer personas. GreenWise Market an ample menu of local and out-of-state beers. If you are unfamiliar with the store, they are an up-and-rising of Publix that organic, local produce.

Right now, there are three stores across Flori- da, one of which is conveniently located on Gaines St. By the end of the year, they will have opened three more stores; six having been announced within the next one to two years. A festbier has historically been a type of beer made from an excess of a crop dur- ing harvest time. Sam October- fest beer, for example, is made of barley and pumpkin.

Prooftoberfest has as similar rich taste as other festbiers, but it carries in the background a hint of grapefruit. The Pumpkin Spice Latte, sourced from Gainesville, might surprise you if you are having qualms about a pump- kin-spice beer. The beer, a white stout, is infused with The sweetness, spice and bitterness intermingle to pro- vide a beer suitable for festive occa- sions. In fact, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is a beer you could curl up with in pajama pants on Christmas day. GreenWise Market also serves nine kinds of beer-infused sausages.

One of these is a cheddar bratwurst prepared with Proof 850. The result is an intri- cate sausage with a subtle after-taste of hops to be relished by APA-lovers. Besides the beer and sausage, Green- Wise Market also a seasonal cider. Right now they are serving a caramel apple cider. Traditional-minded beer enthusiasts would be wise to try this.

It is unique, sweet as candy, but not over- whelming. You can also infuse a cider with any of the at Green- Wise Market, including agave, mango and passionfruit. If you are keen on taking a sip and stroll and trying the October beers at Greenwise, do not hesitate. The beers are going quick.
