winter meeting yesterday he would soon meet with them to discuss party and administration policies Complaints about a continued loss of gubernatorial influence on politics and policies had dominated the three-day conference Vice President Spiro Agnew sent word as the governors adjourned that Nixon had accepted their request for a meeting Agnew said Nixon was "anxious" to discuss with them how they could increase their voice in national affairs He said the meeting would be arranged at a "very early date" and the President planned to keep in contact "on a continuing basis" Nixon also wired
