20, 2019 We have said good-bye to our father, John David Puddicombe, who died December 20th at the age of 87 in Kingston, Ontario. Dave was the eldest son of Dr. John and Clare Puddicombe of Ottawa. He was loved by many people, especially his daughters Paula Solbrig (deceased), Virginia Puddicombe and Lisa Bagin; his sister Julia McGinnis, brothers Paul (deceased) and Robert, and the women with whom he shared his life: our mother Ingrid Puddicombe, his second wife Dianne Puddicombe, and his companion of many years, Sandra Knapp. Our dad loved life, expressed in the joy he took in friendship, playing piano, telling stories, painting pictures, woodworking and delighting in the companionship of his beloved dogs.

His greatest pleasure was making people laugh, whether his family, friends, or caregivers in the last years of his life. His legacy to us is his unflagging optimism, deep affection for people, and passion for life. Committal of his ashes at Beechwood Cemetery in Ottawa is planned for springtime when family and friends will celebrate his life. We send special thanks to the staff of Providence Manor for the loving care they gave our father during his residence there. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Providence Manor through The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation uhka.ca GUNN, Elsie September 8, 1935 December 20, 2019 We are saddened to announce that Elsie Marie Gunn of Arnprior passed away rather suddenly with her daughter by her side at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital Friday, December 20, 2019 at the age of 84.

28, 201 9 In remembrance of a truly kind man with a beautiful heart. Having grown up in Glasgow, Scotland he served in the merchant navy which enabled him to travel the world. He had a love of opera music; and was himself a beautiful singer. He lit up the lives of everyone around him with a smile, a joke, or an amazing meal! Even near the end of his life, while living with dementia, he was so thoughtful and caring. He always made us feel supported and loved.

He truly was the best father figure and a true father to us all. We love you Pa and continue to see you everyday in the joy that you brought to our lives. '5 METCALFE, Clifford A. Owner of Eastern Crop Doctor Inc. and Certified Crop Advisor.
