the operation of the Lake Siskiyou concessions this year 1 YREKA The Siskiyou County Board of Supervisors has approved two agreements which will consolidate area dumps at the new Black Butte site constructed north of Mount Shasta to replace the city's old dump site required for construction of the Box Canyon Dam project The Black Butte dump is a cut-and-fill operation The supervisors anticipate state regulations which will prohibit the old burning dumps in the near future The board approved the removal of signs at the dump which call for a charge of $5 for dumping car bodies and $1 for old refrigerators and similar appliances 11-a-e-Ed IC and 29 while those from Auburn will have the use of the facilities the week before Mrs Bravo said the council has a qualified bus driver and will pay for the gasoline for a bus if one can be found She said the same problem confronted the council a year ago and was only solved by the use of private vehicles and a donated church bus This year she attempted to obtain the use of local school buses but these were not available because the children's camp is not a school activity she said In making her plea Mrs: Bravo asked that anyone with suitable transportation particularly a bus contact her at 7834002 or the Auburn office of the council at 885-7785 ROSEVILLE The Pia' cer County Community Ac! tion Council has put out a I call for buses or other vehi des to transport underprivileged children to summer camp Monday Mrs Isabell Bravo issued the urgent plea yesterday saying the council had the use of the Woodchuck Flat 7 4-H Camp near Cisco Grove high in the Placer County I part of the Sierra for two weeks starting Monday Her only problem is she has no means for transporting the children to camp She said she has 115 children charges of conspiring to hire three men to murder his business partners and bury their bodies in the Nevada desert An attorney for Goldsmith and the three accused accessories said the decision would be appealed to the 10th US Circuit Court of Appeals Goldsmith 45 was charged with being an accessory before the fact of murder in the 1967 slayings of his two Jackson Wyo business partners Larry Olinger 33 and Robert Stucker 30 Their bodies were discovered in a shallow grave west of Carson City 1 1: CARSON CITY Nev Carl Hocker has returned the Nevada Prison to its normal routine after securing a pledge that Negroes and whites would try to live together peacefully Inmates had been locked in their cells since Aug 6 when nine Negroes attacked three whites and beat them then broke up
