One hundred and sixty employees from the Company's plants in Kingston, Philipsburg and Lancaster, all with twenty-five years or more of service with the Company, were present. Nine members were inducted into the Club and presented with inscribed gold watches.

The new members from Philipsburg were Genevieve Johnson and Eleanor Love. Presentation of the gold watches to new members was made by Theodore Kaufmann, Chairman of the Board of General Cigars, following which he spoke briefly to the group. Philip Bondy, president of the General Cigar Division, also addressed the group. Master of Ceremonies for the evening was Robert i i a District Manager. Present were William J.

La Moore, Personnel Director; Frank G. Fina and Alfred Sulzberger, Assistant Vice i a Young, Division Manager; Alfred Gottscho, Assistant Vice President of the Research Division; and John Dreher, Retired head of the Department of Manufac- turing Technology.
