Like UCLA, Coach Jim Hackleman's Pacific Pirates Tacific rollides with San Bernardino, while San Gorgonio meets Cajon at 6 p.m. for third-place honors.

The JV finals are at Pacific, the county prep slate today and tonight. The city title game comes at 7:30 on the Cajon High court, when tourney-favored The championship game in the San Bernardino City Basketball Tournament, and the opening of the L'pland-Montclair tourney, headline had more trouble than expected Saturday, when they had to go all-out to edge San 80-74. It was tied at 74, with only 37 seconds left, when free throws by Bob Roddy (two) and Greg Bunch (four) pulled it out. The 6-foot-4 Bunch, who gained All-CIF second team mont at 4:45. Mullins, 57, who died of a heart attack Sunday night at his home in Cypress. Knopsnyder Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, but no site for the service has been set yet.

Mullins served as district administrator in Little League for 20 years, was on the national board and was on the committee for the building of the San Bernardino LL stadium. Mullins was a resident of Colton for 30 years and three years ago moved to Cypress after a promotion by the Edison Company, with which he served for 35 years. Dee graduated from Riverside Poly High and Riverside Junior College, where he starred in football, basketball, baseball and track at both schools. Two of his coaches were Jess Mortensen and Jess Hill. He served in the Army during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Emma Gene; a daughter, Sandra, 27; and sons Mike, 30, and Steven, 10. Mike was outstanding in LL baseball and at Colton High. laurels last year, led Pacific with 37 points. He hit 13 of 19 from the floor and 11 of 15 at the line. Roddy meshed 8 of 9 at the line.

All-Citrus Belt League returnee Leon Jordan led Coach John Powell's Spartans with 25 and Mike Updike added 18 points.
