By the Associated Press. CHICAGO. November An un identified woman jumped to tier death from a seventh-floor balcony into an open court above the main floor of Marshall Field store today, striking a saleswoman, who she in ju red severely and a male customer, who was slightly hurt. Employes said i tho woman had been loitering near the railing for several days and be-j lieve she had contemplated the act for some time before mustering coinage to leap. She weighed about 209 pounds, was i fashionably attired and had more than $3,000 in her purse.

Besides the saleswoman and the I man who were injured, three other men customers also were struck by the body as it fell into the throng of Saturday shoppers, but they were not hurt. Kenneth Crowell. Madison. University of Wisconsin student, was gashed on the neck by the woman's heel. The Injured saleswoman suffered a crushed chest.

Charged with violating the gambling i laws, 2 men were arrested yesterj day afternoon and 15 others held as witnesses when a raiding party from the twelfth precinct pounced down upon the second floor room at 1900 Fourth street northeast, It was a well planned raid, but when the police bartered down the door 19 men escaped by jumping from the windows.
