Galleria in Broward, and Shadowood in Palm Beach The Love Letter (PG-13) Bearing a passing, ominous resemblance to Message In A Bottle, this romance is based, too, on a recent novel, and has a female lead whos a blond single mother (here Kate Cap-shaw) prone to beach-jogging and whose life is changed by a syrupy epistle of uncertain authorship This isn't remarkably better, but it does meander to the obvious conclusion with smarter characters and an often-witty script from Maria Mag-genti (The Incredibly True Adventures of Two Girls In Love) Tom Everett Scott and Tom Selleck are the younger and older men, and Ellen DeGeneres the cynical coworker, in this likable if forgettable romantic comedy Flowers (vulgar language, sexual situations, adult themes) 88 minutes Lover of the Arctic Circle (R) A In this dreamy, determinedly enigmatic film from Spanish director Julio Medem, romantic destiny means more than meet-cute contrivance It's at the very heart of the strange and bittersweet relationship PLEASESEE MOVIES, 12G powerful true story Cohen (scenes of people in peril that may frighten youngsters) 44 minutes In Broward Blockbuster IMAX Theater at Museum of Discovery and Science Extreme (U) You'll get more insight into extreme sports and the people who take part in them from a video game Director Jon Long films his sports extremists who climb frozen waterfalls, ski down mountains and ride titanic waves from above and in choppy fashion, never taking advantage of IM AXs Visual scope Bad pop music on the soundtrack makes this one a total washout.
