2-A THE MIAMI HERALD Mon July 10 1972 Jets Destroy Repair Depot at Hanoi US Fliers Rescued Down 3 MIGs 2 NEWS SUMMARY THE WORLD ner of the city paratroop officers said THE COMMUNISTS were reported dug southwest of the center of Hanoi Other F4 Phantoms escorted the attack planes They were armed with air-to-air missiles to keep away from the strike aircraft and intercepted four of the Soviet-built fighters about 30 miles west of Hanoi the Air Force said Capt Steve Richie 30 of Reidsville NC shot down two of the MIGs raising his total to four in the past two months one short of the number Richie
