Elon College, Nov. 18. In what proved to be the fastest and exciting1 game of the season on Com er Field, Elon, fighting an uphill fight here today, tied the score against Lynchburg in the last minute of play. The aerial route was used in the sensational finish, a long pass from Perry to Clark taking the ball over. The score stood 6 to 6 at the finish of the contest.

VISITORS SHOW WELL. During the first half Lynchburg had the ball in their possession the greater part of the time and outplayed the home team. Whitt carried the ball for Lynchburg's touchdown in the second quarter. After a march down the field through Elon's line from near center field. Lynchburg failed at the free trial for goal after touchdown.

But during the latter part of the game Lynchburg continued to make gains through the Christians line, they failed to produce the punch when gains meant counters. With the score 6 to 0 in favor of Lynchburg and with about two minutes of play remaining Elon uncovered an aerial attack that swept the visitors off their feet, and carried the ball from Lynchburg's 30-yard line to touchdown. SIX PASSES USED. Six consecutive torward passes were used in this rush, four of which were completed. Clark of Lynchburg broke through the line and broke up Perry's at tempt at goal, the score thereby resulting in a tie, Whitt's driving power and a fake line buck were responsible for large gains through Elon's line.

An interesting item of the game is the fact that not once during the entire four periods did Lynchburg resort to the punt game, while Elon was forced to punt only twice. Both teams were strong on the offensive but weak on the defense. Elon (6) Pos. Lynchburg (6) Clark L. E.

Dr. Edgerton was without the regulation side-line pass, which police were instructed to demand of all persons on the field.
