Sacramento, SACRAMENTO California BEE Women's Social, Club And Feature Pages Patricia Monk Discloses Date For Marriage The First Methodist Church will be the setting at noon August 4th for marriage ceremonies which will unite Patricia Anne Monk and Second Lieutenant Walter E. Ronten. Dr. Robert Panzer will officiate at the vow exchange, to be followed by a reception in the church. Attending the bride elect as matron of honor will be Mrs.

William Bertie of San Francisco. The bridesmaids will be Ardell Hansen of 'Sacramento and Carol Ronten of Tuolumne, sister of the prospective bridegroom. Lieutenant Robert Merriman will be the best man and Lieutenants Richard Flowers and John Nelson will usher. The bride elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

Paschal Monk. She was graduated from Sacramento High School and College of the Pacific, where she was a member of Zeta Phi and Beta Beta Beta, and is a graduate student at Sacramento State College. Ronten, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E.

Ronten of Tuolumne, is stationed at McClellan Air Force Base. He is a graduate of Summerville High School and attended COP where his fraternity was Alpha Kappa Phi. LaBandera Parlor Sets Installation Of New Officers LaBandera Parlor No. 110, Native Daughters of the Golden West, will have a business meeting followed by an installation at 7:30 PM tomorrow in Native Sons Hall. The installation will be conducted by Mildred Christy, deputy grand president, and her corps of officers from Califia Parlor No.

22. New officers are Verna Waterman, past president; Agnes McNamara, president; Mae Sydenstricker, first vice dent; Eva Mordecai, second vice president; Shirley Valentini, third vice president. Rae Rominger, recording secretary; Genevieve Didion, financial secretary; Frieda Dalton, treasurer; Eloise Wright, Lillian Simpson and Ethel Miller, trustees; Annabelle DeVore, marshal; Louise Walling, inside sentinel, and Edna B. Briggs, organist. Jessie Hauert will be chairman of the installation and Miss Valentini will be chairman of refreshments, assisted by Geneva Fors and Charlotte Tenney.

Invitation have been sent to Edna B. Briggs, Henrietta Toothaker and Doris Gerrish, past grand presidents; Audrey D. Brown, grand president; Mary Ehlers, grand trustee; Marie Stebbins, supervising district deputy grand president, and all deputy grand presidents and parlors in District 18. Hawaiian Vacation Mr. and Mrs.

George I. Green will leave for a three week vacation in the Hawaiian Islands next Wednesday with the Ben Ali Shrine tour. The group will leave by boat from San Francisco. Friendship Club The Royal Neighbor Friendship Club will meet at noon Friday in the home of Mrs. Ellamae Barnes for a potluck supper.

Paulson of Sacramento was among those attending the meeting Monday of the board of directors of the Department of California, American Gold Star Mothers, in Fresno.

Mrs. Paulson is the Department of California commander. Also attending was Mrs. Ruth Singer of Los Angeles, national commander, who outlined the purposes of the organization, composed of women whose sons were killed while serving in the country's armed forces. Mrs.

Singer declared the organization is not a veterans organization but encourages its members to join veterans auxiliaries. She called upon the women to fight against Communism and said the group contributes heavily to The Arsenal Of Democracy which prepares propaganda to combat Communism abroad. She added the group is non political and non partisan but urges every member to exercise her right to vote. Mrs. Singer declared members of the various chapters in the state also are members of the veterans administration volunteer er services and help out in veterans administration hospitals throughout the state.

The group discussed general plans for participation in Gold Star Mothers Day in September. The Fresno Millerton Chapter, headed by Mrs. Ella Simpson, was the host group. Legion Auxiliary A meeting of George W. Manhart No.

391, American Legion Auxiliary, is slated for tomorrow at 8 PM in the Manhart Legion Hall. Reports on the convention held in Fresno last month will be given by Helen Brodhead, Irma McDougal and Marie Dowd, delegates. The guests will be ushered by Anthony Delgado of Wrights Town, the bride elect's brother, Joseph Silva of Sacramento, Manuel Lewis of Auburn, Boyd Hocker of and Frank Silva of Rio Linda. Parents of the bride to be are Mrs. Grace Mercado and the late Augustine Delgado.

Manuel P. Silva and the late Mrs. Julia Silva are the parents of the prospective bridegroom. The future Mrs. Silva was honored at a cellaneous shower by Mrs.

Cloyd, and Kathleen Guidera. Another miscellaneous shower is planned for Friday evening in the home of Mrs. John K. Leal. Mrs.

Joseph Silva will be cohostess at the event. Mmes. Anastacio ArcienJoseph Guidiana and Elias Esparza, will entertain for the future bride Sunday at a miscellaneous shower in the Mexican Center. Cheechov-Rohrke Pearl Cheechov, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.

James Cheechov of Elmira, has announced her engagement to Lieutenant Martin C. Rohrke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Martin A. Rohrke of Sacramento.

The couple plans a late October wedding. The future Mrs. Rohrke attended high school in Vacaville. Her prospective husband was graduated from the C. K.

McClatchy High School and attended the Sacramento Junior College. Boyd-Kokonas August 19th is the date selected for the marriage of Barbara Jean Boyd and Stanley Myron Kokonas. They will recite their vows in the First Methodist Church. Miss Boyd, the daughter of Mrs. Ralph McGee, is a graduate of Sacramento High School.

Her fiance is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edmond Stevens of Music Circus Members Will Entertain Club Cast members of the Music Circus. will entertain members of the Park Terrace Swimming and Tennis Club at their summer dance Saturday evening in the clubhouse. The tent show will provide the theme for the evening, to feature swimming, dancing and a midnight supper.

Delegates who attended the state convention in Fresno will give reports. Patti Ostrander of El Centro was elected head of the state department. Mrs. Byers was appointed credentials chairman for next convention in Long Beach.

The 1958 convention will meet in Sacramento. Martha Rebekahs Mrs. George F. Cirincion will be chairman of the Martha Rebekah Lodge No. 329 meeting Monday at 8 PM in the Hagginwood Clubhouse.
